16" maroon non-woven 1/4" thick scuff pads are used in wood floor refinishing to either remove the fuzz created from raised grain after sanding the wood and/or to abrade the sealer between coats. The pad is equivalent to a 320 grit in traditional sandpaper, but the nonwoven construction of the pad facilitates a very fine and non-distinct scratch pattern in a water based finish prior to the next coat. 10 discs per box. 16" white non-woven 1/2" thick buff pads are used to bring up a shine on wood, concrete, and stone floor finishes. They are simply nylon pads and are non-abrasive. In addition, they and be used in between the drive pad and a double-sided sanding disc or screen. 10 discs per box.
