The "Wire Wound" Standard:
The DCM TA7000039 is the heavy-duty 4-Terminal Resistor used in thousands of Bergstrom and Kysor heater boxes. It regulates the voltage to the motor to create Low and Medium speeds. When the wire coil burns out, you lose those speeds.
