The Inclusive Scouting Award — or ISA — was originally designed by the Inclusive Scouting Network, a grassroots group supporting LGBT equality. The ISA was adopted by Scouts for Equality in 2013 and distributed until 2020, when SFE dissolved. Today, we proudly continue this tradition of inclusion and equality, distributing the ISA for those who want to show their support. The ISA is a small but important signal that you support full inclusion. You're a safe person for people to speak to if they're questioning their identity or want to discuss policies of the past, present, or future. The rainbow colors signify LGBT people. The purple and silver colors signify religion. You earn it by wearing it.
