[Function] This HVAC Heater Core Connector connects heater hoses to the engine heater core, ensures proper coolant flow to and from the heater core for efficient heat transfer. It may become brittle over time and crack, leading to coolant leaks and heater performance issues. Replace it with the new steel connector to avoid coolant leakage issue and extend service life.
[Installation] 1. Drain the residual coolant (or clamp hoses to minimize spillage). 2. Disconnect the old hose connector (may require cutting if stuck). 3. Install the new connector (use hose clamps if necessary). 4. Refill coolant and bled air from the system. Note: Recommend to use the included Heater Hose Disconnect tool in the line, slide it over the fitting, and pullit out to release the fitting.
