The sight glass plug is a kind of liquid indicator used in tanks, air compressors, pumps, piping system, automotive industries, lab equipments, bearing housing and mixers etc. The sight glass gauge has good viewport for visual Inspection of water, oil and gas (WOG).
The actual liquid level position screw oil in the oil tank can be placed on the tank sight glass to see, to judge from the outside to run defenders screw oil meets the operating condition.
The tempered glass is clear and transparent, and the sight glass in the middle can easily and accurately read the oil level, which helps to judge the situation from the outside.
The body is made of stainless steel, which is less prone to wear and tear than plastic materials. Tempered glass with high heat resistance and strong bending strength, can work in high temperature environment. 800 PSI (55 bar) and temperature -30-120C(-22-248F).
The outer diameter of the oil level sight glass with hexagon socket design while the external thread with O-ring, easy installation, good oil seal. 3/4" NPT threads are long and engage well, with teflon tape, can provide better sealing and prevent oil leakage during use.
