The Estes Banshee Model Rocket Kit delivers high-flying performance and real-world STEM learning in one hands-on educational activity. Designed for intermediate rocketeers, the Banshee combines sleek aerodynamics with a design that brings the challenge and excitement for builders looking to elevate. Ideal for classrooms, family projects, and STEM enthusiasts, this model teaches the physics of thrust, stability, and recovery through an engaging, repeatable process.

Standing at approximately 24.1" tall, the Banshee can soar to breathtaking heights of up to 1,000 ft. on an Estes C6-5 series rocket engine (sold separately). With a durable airframe, laser-cut cardstock fins, and bold waterslide decals, it offers exceptional performance and consistent launches every time. Builders can explore flight mechanics, assemble their rocket in minimal time, and personalize it using the included decals for a professional finish.

To build and launch this rocket, you will need scissors, a pencil, a ruler, fine sandpaper, yellow glue, plastic glue, a hobby knife, masking tape, clear tape, primer (white), clear coat (optional), an Estes Porta-Pad II Launch Pad, an Electron Beam Launch Controller, compatible Estes model-rocket engines, Starters, Recovery Wadding, and 4 AA batteries (sold separately). Always follow the NAR (National Association of Rocketry) model-rocket safety code during operation.
