Single-ended cordsets have 7/8' connectors on one end and bare wire leads on the other end to add compatible adapters or extend the connection length. Their PVC (polyvinyl chloride) outer jackets are flame retardant, but less resistant to environmental or chemical elements than PUR or TPE jacketed cordsets. They are for indoor applications that require light-to-medium flexing with unsupported or short, gliding travel distances.
