Insertion requires pressing down on the locking tab of the cover, which is the same thickness as the insert. Due to the flexibility of the sheath, loosening a connector with a sheath is easier than one without.
Be sure to slide the sheath onto the cable before making the modulating plug; if you slide it on backwards, you will not be able to install the sheath.
