Ultra-Shear Ultimate Stacked Dado Set 2.0 delivers performance and flexibility you won't find in conventional dado sets. At the heart of the explanation are precision-ground 12-tooth chippers with a 5° positive hook angle. This design produces exceptionally smooth, flat dado bottoms while reducing feed resistance by counteracting the negative hook of the outside blades.

To improve compatibility with brake-equipped table saws, the chippers (except the 1/16") feature a lightweight, open design that significantly reduces rotating mass while maintaining strength. The result is a quieter, smoother-running dado set with improved handling characteristics.

Outside blade options let you tailor the set to your work. Beveled-tooth blades score the edges for clean blind dados with minimal tear-out. Flat-top chisel blades create perfectly square shoulders for exposed joinery without “bat ears.” The Deluxe configuration includes both styles so you can choose the right blade for each job.

Assembly is faster and more accurate thanks to the included 1/4" chipper, which reduces the number of pieces required to reach common dado widths. Fine tuning is handled with magnetic shims that stay in place during installation, unlike traditional paper or plastic shims.
