Reliable Adhesion: The Kobra S1 bed provides excellent adhesion for PLA, PETG, and TPU when used at their ideal temperatures. For PLA, use 60-65°C; for PETG, 70-90°C; and for flexible TPU, 20-40°C. A helpful tip: using a glue stick with PETG can further enhance adhesion and protect your build plate.
Easy, Tool-Free Removal: After your print and the Kobra S1 build plate have fully cooled, just give the flexible plate a gentle flex. You can then easily remove your model by hand-it will pop right off without any prying or scraping.
Clean the Build Plate Before Use: For optimal first-layer adhesion, it is recommended to clean the print bed before each print: Wipe the surface with a damp cloth or tissue to remove dust and fingerprints; Dry it thoroughly with a clean, dry cloth; Ensure the surface is completely free of any oil or residue before starting your print.
