These are an excellent upgrade from the factory FISHER hoses. FISHER uses R1 hose which has a single layer of steel braid reinforcement. These assembled in the USA hoses are built with a higher grade R16 hose utilizing two layers of steel braiding, giving the hoses a higher working pressure rating while being extremely flexible with half the bend radius which means less chance of flow restriction/kinking.
