Product Description The Dujo Medical Heat Moisture Exchange (HME) filter for CPAP therapy is designed to provide passive humidification during use. The filter attaches directly to a CPAP mask elbow, capturing moisture and heat from exhaled breath and returning it during inhalation. This process helps reduce dryness that may occur with CPAP, APAP, or BiPAP therapy. Mask Compatibility: Works best with masks that connect via a standard elbow. Not intended for masks with a short flexible tube extending from the frame, since the filter must be positioned close to the user's exhaled breath for optimal function. Use & Care: The HME filter is single-patient use only and is not designed for cleaning or sterilization. Recommended use is up to 7 nights before replacement.
