Polycarbonate was developed for use in hostile environments. NASA uses polycarbonate on space helmets. The Air Force uses polycarbonate for windshields and visors. The NFL and AFL use polycarbonate for football helmets. Matt Surface. pcX patches come with a Matt surface to cut down on possible glare. In addition to cutting down glare the Matt surface prevents fingerprints and scratches, and prolongs the life of your patches (which can take a lot of abuse). The HOOK FASTENER we use has the highest quality acrylic-based adhesive glue and is able to withstand extremely hot climates.
