This grommet is usually rock hard after being exposed to heat for 40 years. Beware of the others on the market that are made of the wrong material and when exposed to oil expand to twice there size. They are made of the wrong kind of rubber.These are used on all V8s, and a must for a concourse restoration. This is exact inline tube reproduction made identical to the originals.
