  • INSTALLATION HELP:When installing and removing the throttle body cap, first loosen the hose clamp that connects the cap to the bellows hose, disconnect the hose, and then remove/install the cap. If you are having trouble seating the hat over the throttle body after you have installed the gasket, use a few drops of lubricant on the inside rib that goes over the outside of the throttle body neck. It should hinge into place as designed by GM after seating the metal clip on the front of the throttle body
