Special Features

  • Precise Fitment & Application Guide：The brake caliper press tool is equipped with two groups of push boards: 7.01x2.36 inches and 4.53x2.17 inches.Smaller ones are suitable for disc brake system with twin and quad pistons fixed calipers, or single and twin pistons floating calipers. The bigger ones more fit for some sextuplet pistons fixed calipers. (Just make sure the piston calipers space can accommodate the spreader) Note: This tool pushes the piston straight back and is not suitable for brakes that require a twist-and-compress motion or for drum brakes.
  • Working Principle and Design Features：The tool's core features a centrally located ratchet screw. By simply flipping the switch, the mechanism generates uniform thrust, pushing both plates forward in perfect parallel alignment. This ensures that pressure is applied evenly and simultaneously to multiple pistons, preventing misalignment or damage. The 360° swivel head ensures access from any angle. Ratcheting mechanism reduces hand fatigue, making brake service a quick one-person job.
  • Easy Operation Guide：Center the push boards against the brake pistons to ensure full parallel contact. Squeeze the plates toward the caliper until the ratchet engages. Then, repeatedly swing the handle until the pistons are fully retracted. Flip the switch to retract the boards and remove the tool. Note: Applying inward pressure is necessary to operate the ratchet. If the tool is set too narrow, keep pushing the spreader against the caliper metal.
