This Navajo Turquoise Silver Concho Belt offers one of a kind style and the talent and legacy of of Diné smith Tom Ahasteen (1951-2020)! Respectfully brought back into reproduction by our Navajo in-house craftsmen and women, this features eight scalloped, 2-3/4" by 3-1/4" German Silver stations. A natural Arizona nugget dresses each concho and the gem was set in a high fence bezel and then wrapped in twist wire rope. Accented with linear traditional hammered patterns, four water repoussé symbols decorate each corner. They are leather backed for your wearing comfort. The larger, matching 2-3/4" by 3-1/4" buckle completes the design. Threaded on 1-1/4" wide, genuine hand dyed black leather. The metal was buffed to a Santa Fe (satin) finish for that decades worn look. Native American made in our jewelry shop, it's hallmarked with Tom's original stamp with Handmade.
