The Ambie Fishing Rod Holster by Pine 9 is a modular, ambidextrous solution that gives anglers hands-free control while fishing from the bank, or paddleboard. Designed for either left or right hip carry, it offers a reversible setup that supports freshwater rods using spinning, baitcaster, spincast, centerpin, or closed-face reels up to 1.625" in diameter. Ambie features a lightweight 3.2 oz design and positions rods at a 60° angle, helping keep gear elevated and stable while tying knots, re-baiting hooks, or taking photos. The slide-in channel securely holds the reel arm in place while allowing fast and smooth removal with a twist-and-pull motion. Its low-profile build allows anglers to manage their gear without laying rods on the ground or navigating cluttered spaces with a rod in hand. Built from recyclable polypropylene and HDPE, the holster is fabricated and assembled in New Hampshire using components designed for long-term use. The included 1.5" belt clip fits standard fishing and wading belts. A flexible back plate helps the holster sit flush to the body, and integrated mounting holes allow optional sidecar attachments like tool holders or pliers.
