Remo's Smooth White Emperor drumheads are once again becoming very popular for their open, bright, full tones, with plenty of attack. Smooth White heads are lively and loud, have more of a transparent sound than a coated head, and they have the feel of a clear head. Emperor heads are the darkest sounding and most durable of the classic Weatherkings. They're made with two free-floating plies of 7mm film, which gives their consistent open tones and accounts for their popularity among many of today's top drummers.
