The Freud 1-1/4-by-1/2-Inch Top Bearing Mortising-Dado Bit is ideal for hinges, mortises, and dadoes, cutting all composition materials, plywood, hardwood, and soft wood. Designed with deep gullets, this bit provides maximum material removal without chip loading. Other design features include anti-kickback for safety, a perma-shield coating to resist heat, multi-axis grinding for burn-free cuts, and a shear angle for producing a superior finish. With a 1-1/4-inch diameter with a 1/2-inch height carbide shank, this bit is designed for use on CNC and other automatic routers as well as hand-held and table-mounted portable routers.
