  • Depending on clearance requirements, adjustments may need to be made to the engine's position (either fore/aft or height) when using this cast aluminum oil pan. It is not compatible with Dry Sump Engines (LS7, LS9).
  • This low-profile cast aluminum oil pan is designed to be used with GM #12558253 windage tray, which needs to be modified to provide clearance for the pick-up tube.
  • To ensure clearance for the pick-up tube, a modification to the windage tray is necessary when using this cast aluminum oil pan. Alternatively, a full-length windage tray can be used if the front quarter of the tray is removed.
  • This cast aluminum oil pan requires the use of an LS3 dipstick (GM 12669528) and dipstick tube (GM 12625031).
