This soil sifter is ergonomically designed and constructed to allow most any person to easily sift soil/dirt to a finer consistency .Construction materials used are: #2 pressure treated lumber. Exterior screws designed for pressure treated lumber (very important). 1/4" hardware cloth. Outer dimensions............21" x 18" x 1 1/2" .Designed for use over an 18-gallon tote bin available at most home improvement stores. Can easily be used over any container or tarpaulin .Excellent for sifting the cheaper bags of "topsoil" which removes the larger chunks of mulch. Excellent for sifting peat moss to remove the larger peat nubbins. Use the sifted mulch to put around your vegetables in the garden. Use the sifted peat nubbins to put around vegetable plants that are still in container. Save $100's of dollars as I have and make your own potting soil/mixes.
