Key Step: Before removing the camshaft actuator valves, install and expand the EN-52436 in the timing chain to hold it. This effectively prevents the timing chain tensioner from extending, allowing for smooth removal and installation of the camshaft actuator and related components.
Low Chain Engagement: Engage with the timing chain as low as possible to maintain that the chain tension is held on the lower end of the engine. Once EN-52436 is in place, the actuator can be removed from the camshaft and timing chain to service the actuator, camshaft, spring, or seal.
