Since the 2nd/3rd century AD, winingas can be traced archeologically in the Germanic region. Romans at Hadrian's Wall used it, Byzantines, later Franks, Alamanni, Bavarians, Wends (Slavs), as well as Normans, Vikings, and other peoples of Central and Northern Europe in the Middle Ages.

The materials wool, linen, felt or leather are considered viable.

The dimensions of our winingas are about 380cm x 10cm. Of course, we supply two winingas. You wouldn't buy socks individually.
