This item is for twelve (12) strips of Green, Blue and Red Plastigage for precision clearance measurements. Item includes 12 Green strips for measuring .001-.003 clearances.12 Blue strips for measuring .002-.006 clearances. 12 Blue strips for measuring .004-.009 clearances. Includes instructions. Plastigage strips are a simple and accurate way to verify crankshaft, main and rod bearing clearances and Plastigage is also used to measure clearances on marine drive-shaft bearings, turbine housing bearings, shaft end-float, pipe flange clearances and pup and pressure system bearings.
