Shatavari (Asparagus Racemosus) grows 3 ft 3 in–6 ft 7 in tall. Asparagus Racemosus has small pine-needle-like phylloclades that are uniform and shiny green in color. In July, the plant produces minute, white flowers on short, spiky stems. Fruiting period is in September. The fruit is blackish-purple, globular berry. It has an adventitious root system with tuberous roots, tapering at both ends, with roughly a hundred on each plant.
