This cotton scarf is hand-woven on ancient handlooms in rural villages in in India - powered exclusively by the energy of our artisan weavers. This elegant scarf is named after Bengal, an area renown for its masterful weavers and elaborate jacquard borders. This black and cream border has a reverse image on the other side - a sign of a true handwoven jacquard. It is yarn-dyed with playful stripes in grey and green, with handwoven fringe along two edges.
