These hand-crocheted orchid baskets are the solution for dealing with hard baskets the damage delicate roots over time. They are stylish and work perfectly for hanging bare-root orchids or orchids in a medium.
The loose weave allows roots to breathe and migrate through freely, but is also tight enough to retain media like mulch or charcoal, if desired. The yarn is acrylic, allowing the basket to retain its strength and shape while being exposed to the elements. The yarn will also hold water part of the day, but will dry out between daily waterings.
The small basket is approximately 4" wide by 3.5" tall, with a hanging chain of approximately 11" unstretched ($10). These baskets are also strong, able to hold a 5 lb. weight. These small baskets are seen in the pictures holding the Vanda orchids.

The medium baskets are approximately 4.5" tall by 5.5" wide ($16) and is shown in the picture holding a Dendrobium orchid.
