The filter prevents the microstructure coolers from becoming clogged, since these coolers are often difficult to clean manually due to their small size. The filter is constructed so that there is no resistance through the mesh; the opposite, in fact: the flow rate of the filter is around 50% higher than a tube with an 8mm inner diameter and around 30% higher than a tube with a 10mm inner diameter.
