The Korsteel Stainless Steel Slow Twist Hunter Dee Ring Snaffle Bit has a single jointed mouthpiece that provides a nutcracker action which applies pressure to the tongue and bars of the horse's mouth. The slow twist design creates distinct pressure points along the entire mouthpiece that provide a sharper "bite" on the bars and tongue to encourage a faster response when the reins are engaged. The Hunter Dee ring is a large dee ring design that compromises between an eggbutt and a full cheek snaffle, preventing pinching at the corners of the mouth.
