The Tecnifibre Black Code is pentagonal polyester string designed to have better elasticity, which delivers more pop, a bigger sweet spot and less shock at impact. The string also has a pentagonal shape for increased spin and feel. It's aimed at frequent string-breakers and can be used as the durability half of a hybrid.
