Description

The Schluter PRIMER-U Universal Primer is a ready-to-use, water-based acrylic primer designed to improve adhesion on challenging substrates like gypsum underlayment, steel, terrazzo, and existing tile. Ideal for use with Schluter SET, ALL-SET, and FAST-SET thin-set mortars, this primer is compatible with Schluter underlayments like DITRA and DITRA-HEAT. The one-component, solvent-free formula is low odor and contains zero VOCs, making it perfect for indoor applications. PRIMER-U applies easily with a roller or broom, drying in just 15 to 60 minutes to create a strong, glossy bond. Suitable for a variety of floor and wall surfaces, it ensures lasting adhesion for professional-quality results.
