Installation Steps Part1: Step 1: Remove the center console panel Use a pry bar to carefully pry the panel from the edge of the armrest box or center console, paying attention to the location of the clips to avoid damage caused by excessive force. Step 2: Locate the start/stop button harness Locate the wiring harness plug (usually a 4-pin connector) behind the auto start/stop button, press the snap and unplug the original plug.
Installation Steps Part2: Step 3: Connect the Shield Connect the two ends of the shield to the original plug and the start/stop button socket respectively, make sure the interface matches (the wrong shape of the plug can not be inserted) Step 4: Restore the panel and test Install the panel back and start the vehicle, make sure the instrument panel shows that the start/stop function has been turned off (if “A OFF” is displayed, it is successful).
