Special Features

  • We mix paydirt from our family's gold/platinum claim in Washington with Washington sands (both of which are unsearched and contain naturally occurring placer gold).
  • We add over .10 grams of gold to every bag. About 1 in 10 bags is a bonus bag, with more than double the gold.
  • Wide variety of fines & flakes ranging in size from #20 mesh to #10 mesh (or larger).
  • 3/10 Difficulty Level - bigger flakes than our other paydirt.
  • Smaller bag = pan quickly and find the gold fast! (or mix it with dirt from home to extend the experience).
  • Majority of the gold is from Alaska, but may have small quantities of Oregon/Washington/Colorado gold and/or platinum, too.
  • Bags are fully sealed and feature a tear notch. Bags can be re-sealed. The interior of the bag is metal foil so one can rinse out the bag to get any gold/platinum that may be caught in the crevices.

Description

Discover gold panning with Prospector's Claim, a paydirt bag that is designed for beginners and kids. This smaller, introductory bag has a lot in common with our Quarter Gram bag. Each bag has a range of fines, flakes, and at least one small nugget. There are fewer small flakes and less of the black sand than our other products. Typical gold sizes range from #10 mesh to #20 mesh. We mix paydirt from our family's gold/platinum claim in Washington with Washington sands (both of which are unsearched and contain naturally occurring placer gold). Because our paydirt is unsearched and we want to offer gold in every bag, we source gold directly from miners in Alaska and Colorado and add at least .10 grams to every Prospector's Claim bag.
