Designed by motorcycle riders who needed a secure way to mount wireless microphones onto their helmets. Cold shoe mounts stick securely to most smooth, non-porous surfaces. It is recommended you clean the mounting surface with an alcohol pad before applying the mount. It is also reommended you use a hair drier or heat gun on low-heat setting to lightly heat the adhesive backing before pressing the mount onto the surface you wish to attach it too. This will activate the adhesive and provide a more secure bond.
