Fiber Cable Description: OS2 FC to FC Fiber Patch Cable Duplex Single Mode fiber optic cable, 4.4/125 Corning optical fiber, Ø900 µm Hytrel Jacket ＆ Ø3 mm PVC .

Core / Cladding/Coating: Corning 4.4 micron diameter fiber core / 125 micron diameter cladding (1 micron is 1 one-millionth/1 meter)/245 micron diameter coating. The fiber optic core is surrounded by a transparent, low refraction, cladding material. Light is contained within the fiber core (total internal reflection) .The Coating Material is UV Cured, Dual Acrylate.
