Pre-assembled for fast and hassle-free assembly, this valve box works with PEX pipe tailpieces that rotate nearly 360 degrees for flexible installation, and reduces total installation time compared to traditional methods. Each outlet box includes a supply valve with a quarter-turn handle, a 3/8 inch threaded compression connection, and a 1/2 inch tailpiece that comes pre-bent for easy connection; escutcheons and valve extensions are sold separately. Installation is straightforward, attaching directly to studs or between studs using a hyco bar or Holdrite brackets, and features a threaded debris cover that eliminates the need for adhesives, fasteners, or extra tools. This fire-rated fixture outlet box features a red base plate and is available with either white or chrome trim plates.
