Special Features

  • ✅EXTRA LONG: The box contains 9 refill foil rings. Each refill is 22 feet long (comparted to 14 feet in the original refills).
  • ✅ODOR BLOCKING: The Greenland refills have the same thickness as conventional 7-layer plastic to trap the smell. They contain a gentle lemon scent.
  • ✅STRONG PROTECTION: The Greenland refills have the same strength and durability as regular plastic. They only start to break down when they have been exposed to UV light or heat for prolonged periods of time. The bags contain a gentle lemon scent and have a protective coating.
  • ✅BIODEGRADABLE: The refill foil is oxo-biodegradable. Oxo-biodegradable simply means that the plastic, at the end of its useful life, biodegrades through the presence of oxygen, when exposed to heat or sunlight, hence the name oxo-biodegradable (oxo stemming from oxygen). (They are not compostable).

What does oxo-biodegradable mean?
Oxo-biodegradable simply means that the plastic, at the end of its useful life, biodegrades through oxidation in the presence of oxygen, when exposed to heat or sunlight, hence the name oxo-biodegradable (oxo stemming from oxygen).
Why is oxo-biodegradable plastic not compostable?
Products may only be classified as compostable if they biodegrade within 180 days (6 months) in a composting system, back into biomass, carbon dioxide and water. Any product which takes longer than 180 days to break down is not allowed to be classified as compostable.
