Note:
If the gasket deteriorates, oil will begin to leak, and the engine will not receive proper lubrication, which may lead to engine damage. Oil leaking through the valve cover gasket can also fall into the system and ignite the engine
If you find a problem with the valve cover gasket, be sure to replace it with a new valve cover gasket
