Joining wet connections is a breeze as this process requires no soldering, no glue or bonding agents. Use a cold expansion pex tool to clamp an expansion PEX ring onto the barbed PEX end. (PEX rings are not included).

Description

The heavy duty brass NOM 1/2 inch P x PEX Expansion brass fitting adapter features an inboard bead and EPDM O-ring. Simply applying pressure from a Press tool tightens the O-ring onto the tube, ensuring a clean, watertight seal in seconds with no flame, solder or flux. This 1/2" press to PEX adapter can create a union with copper and PEX pipes.
