The painting on the wall inside the queen's tomb shows a dream of a better future. The picture depicts the Egyptian Goddess Isis guiding Nefertari by holding her hand. The gods of Egypt welcome Nefertari, guiding her to the afterlife by giving directions and carrying out ceremonies and tests from the Book of the Dead. The scenes depict Nefertari's journey from death to rebirth. She emerges from the eastern horizon like a sun disc.
This scene from the northeast wall of the vestibule depicts Nefertari being led by the Goddess Isis, who says:
"By my hand, come, Great Wife of the King, Nefertari Meritenmut, true of voice, to a place in the sacred land”.
Khepri, the sun-god with a beetle head, is presenting her and saying:
"I give to you eternity like Ra, I give to you the appearance of Ra in heaven, I give to you a place in the sacred land”.
