The top handle is great for carrying the unit and especially for filming one handed. It features plenty of 1/4''-20 mounting holes for various configurations. It could be bolted on camera rig directly with two 1/4''-20 screws (the adjustable distance between 2 screws is 30mm-40mm). You could hold comfortably with the wood covered grip while shooting.
