The Omega XL Steel at 70kN is one of the strongest carabiners in the world. The screw lock gate works in conjunction with a keylock nose to prevent unwanted snagging, while the massive 1.65″ opening is large enough to clear standard ladder rungs. This hulk of a carabiner is built as the new workhorse for all fire rescue and safety industries.
