Special Features

  • SECURE MOUNT: The XLCS SSD holder can use up to 3x 1/4" screws to hold it into place--keeping your drive holder securely in place on your rig.
  • EASE OF USE: Your Samsung T9 or T7 drive slides securely into the drive holder and is locked into place. The use of a second lock keeps the USB-C cable secure as well.
  • LOW PROFILE OPTION: Use either the included thumbscrews or socket cap screws to mount your T9 and T7 drives--for either quicker release or a lower profile.
  • QUALITY BUILD: The XLCS SSD holder of T9 and T7 Shield SSDs is machined from a solid piece 6061 grade aluminum. Designed for strength and ease of use.

Description

This SSD Holder was specifically designed for the Samsung T9 SSD and is also compatible with the T7 Shield. The SSD Holder is machined from 6061 Aluminum, and was designed for the Blackmagic Micro Studio Camera 4K G2. It is also compatible with other cameras like the Sigma FP or Blackmagic Pocket Cameras. It allows mounting of Samsung T9 and T7 Shield SSD drives to the XLCS Micro Cage or Cheese Plate in any orientation. It is also compatible with other cage systems
Both ratcheting thumb-screws and M4 socket head screws for locking in the SSD and USBC are included. The socket heads allow for a lower profile on the drive holder, while the thumb-screws allow for faster installation and removal. This is a great way to mount your drives and still keep a clean and low-profile rig while filming with the G2.
