This hex shank Auger bit extension will extend the reach of any auger bit 13/16 inch and larger that has a 7/16 inch hex shank. The overall length is 10 inches and will add up to 8-1/2 inches of drilling depth. The hole opening is .488 inches with a depth of 1-1/4 inches. Bit is secured via two set screws for a secure grip. Hex wrench is included. Can be used in a hand drill, drill press or lathe. Made from precision machined steel.
