This lightweight brass fountain pen is finished in a matte aqua green hue inspired by the colorful Tuamotu lagoons, where the black mother of pearl used on this pen is from. Weighing only 29 grams (1.02 ounces), this series of Xezo pens was designed for speedy and comfortable writing, hence the name Speed Master. The barrel is adorned with iridescent Tahitian black mother of pearl panels that were cut, placed, and polished by hand to enhance the sublime aesthetics of this minimalist pen. The chrome-plated brass fittings add functionality and style. The Speed Master pen is most comfortable for writers with small to medium sized hands. It features a pull-off cap that can be posted firmly on the tapered lower barrel for more grip and weight while writing, or it can be left off for a lighter touch.
