Songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Tom Petty passed away on October 2, 2017. Petty was the driving force and the lead singer of Tom Petty & The Heartbreakers. He recorded a number of hits with the Heartbreakers and as a solo artist. In his career, he sold more than 80 million records worldwide, making him one of the best-selling music artist of all time.
