Special Features

  • Convenient to carry and lightweight: Length is about 49cm when folded, and weighs less than 300g. It is compact enough to fit in a tote bag! Yet, when unfolded, it is large, with a diameter of approximately 97 cm! It can protect you from both rain and sun. It has a high-grade stone butt and can be placed on an umbrella stand. When folded, it can be quickly put together with the thick umbrella belt.
  • UV-cut and light-blocking.:UV-cut 99.9%. Shading 99.99%. Proven by an inspection organization in Japan. The black coating also prevents UV rays from shining back from the ground. Prevents diffuse reflection of UV rays around the face.
  • [Heat shielding of 20 degrees or more] Prevents heat stroke. An image of walking around in the shade of a tree.
  • [Water resistance/water repellency] 10,000mm or more. More than 40 times the department store standard (250mm)! The fabric is grade 4 water repellent. A short wide umbrella developed by Sugita Co., Ltd. , a long-established umbrella manufacturer established over 80 years ago in Japan. Long umbrellas are too long and cumbersome to carry, while folding umbrellas are cumbersome to fold and too small to cover the body from rain and sun. This short wide umbrella is the answer to these problems.
