Special Features

  • PLEASE NOTE: These springs come in a ROLL - DO NOT order these if you do not have the proper tools. NOT for DIY (Do-It-Yourself) unless you have worked with these springs before. This is a 10' ROLL and will require bolt cutters and spring benders (see photo).

  • Composed of high-carbon, high-tensile oil-tempered spring wire. Perfect for seat and furniture restoration (recliners, sofas, truck and auto bench seat CUSHIONS)
  • 9 gauge is much heavier than the 11 or 12 gauge and is used mainly for seat cushions (lighter 11 and 12 gauge are used mostly for seat backs)

Description

10' section of 9 gauge sinuous/zig zag spring - hard-to-find auto restoration and upholstery products offered exclusively . Commonly used in ottomans, chairs (especially seats), auto seats and sofas (seat and back) and take the place of coil springs.
Zig Zag Springs General Guidelines:
Furniture and Auto seat cushions: 9 Gauge
Furniture Seat Backs: 11 Gauge
Auto Seat Backs: 12 Gauge (or 11 gauge for heavier duty use)
