This kit is designed for the average typewriter owner who does not have any background in repairing or restoring typewriters, but who nevertheless wants to keep their machine in top condition. This typewriter care kit is designed to give even neophyte vintage typewriter owners the ability to keep their machines clean, lubricated, and running properly.

This care kit comes with simple instructions on how to keep your vintage typewriter clean, along with some basic supplies to do that. This kit is not suitable for deep cleaning or restoration, but will allow you to keep a working machine running. Note, to clean your machine properly, you'll need a basic solvent, such as window or all-purpose cleaner, for the case, or denatured alcohol to clean the keys, neither of which are included in this kit.
